A Bend resident attempting to carry an explosive device onto a flight leaving the Redmond airport was arrested this morning.
Joseph Seeley, 24, was later released after Redmond Police and FBI agents determined Seeley did not intend to cause any harm or disrupt air travel.
Seeley is charged with misdemeanor possession of an explosive without a license or permit.
Police said the Deschutes County District Attorney and United States Attorney will review the matter to consider additional charges.
