Eyes on the prize

Bill McDonald, of Bend, snapped this photo of his granddaughter, Brit Oliphant, competing in the Bend Paddleboard Challenge on Saturday. “A good vantage point was the Old Mill Bridge,” wrote McDonald. “She came in third in a tight race.” McDonald used a Canon 7D with a 18-135mm lens.
