Saxon’s Fine Jewelers in Bend’s Old Mill District is hosting a trunk show starting Thursday evening, featuring the hand-crafted jewelry of designer Todd Reed.
Reed, of Boulder, Colo., is the store’s newest designer. His work is described as alternative and organic, often utilizing raw diamonds. He creates a variety of pieces using recycled gold and diamonds from reputable sources.
The show starts Thursday with a reception from 6 to 8:30 p.m. The display will remain in Saxon’s through Saturday.
At the reception, Saxon’s will announce the winner of a raffle for a Todd Reed pendant valued at $3,300. Tickets cost $100 and are available now until the drawing at 8 p.m. Thursday. Only 99 tickets will be sold. The winner need not be present. Proceeds will benefit the High Desert Museum.
Saxon’s Fine Jewelers is at 360 S.W. Powerhouse Drive, Suite 110. It’s open 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Mondays through Fridays and 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturdays. It’s closed Sundays.
