Bend Police are investigating a death after they responded to a burglary on Northwest Awbrey Road and found a person dead inside the home.
According to a press release, around 12:39 a.m. Sunday morning police responded to 2461 N.W. Awbrey Rd., on a report of a burglary in progress. When police arrived, there was a dead person in the home.
An investigation is ongoing, and the name of the dead person and the others involved have not yet been released.
According to Deschutes County records, the home has been owned by Kevin and Whitney Perry since 2005.
Police have received a search warrant and are conducting an investigation in the home.
According to the release, there is no danger to the community.
