Bobbie Strome and Noah von Borstel, of John L. Scott Real Estate in Redmond, were the top listing agents for June. Strome was also the top sales agent for June.

Audrey Cook has joined Windemere Real Estate in Redmond. Cook has been licensed since 1988 and has experience selling many different types of properties in Central Oregon.

Jackie Martini, of Albertsons south store in Bend, has been named to Progressive Grocer’s 2012 Top Women in Grocery list for her work as a store director in the supermarket industry, community involvement and leadership. Martini joined Albertsons in 1977 and has been the store director for the Bend Albertsons for the last eight years. Martini is an active volunteer with several community organizations and has been a member of the Bend Chamber of Commerce since 2010.

Dirk Duryee and Pamela Tennant, both of Tye Engineering and Surveying Inc., recently completed a three-credit course in AutoCad Civil 3D at Central Oregon Community College. Duryee is a licensed professional engineer and land surveyor and Tennant is an engineering technician.

Theresa Wadden and Porte Lewy, of Wadden College Counseling & Educational Planning LLC in Bend, recently returned from the Higher Education Consultants Association annual conference. Conference topics included financing college costs, student-athlete recruiting and eligibility and ethics in the consulting business.

The La Pine Chamber Toastmasters Club has elected new officers: Lillian Jones, president, a real estate agent with High Lakes Realty; John Thomas, vice president of education, a former Realtor who owns his own contracting business; Linda Stephenson, vice president, membership, co-owner with her husband, Sonny, of L&S Gardens; Rochelle Davenport, vice president, public relations, co-owner with her husband, Steve, of S&R Storage; Mary Thorson, secretary/treasurer, owner of Thorson Bookkeeping; Woody Jarrell, sergeant at arms, owner Ameriprise Financial; Mary Chisolm, club mentor, and past president, Dan Varcoe, will remain on the board for the 2012-2013 year.
