Median home price falls in Bend

The median price for a single-family home in Bend was $218,000 last month, a drop of $16,000 from May’s median price, according to a report from the Bratton Appraisal Group.

However, June’s median price was still higher than it has been during any month in about the last two years, with the exception of May. Bend’s median price last came close to that mark in June 2010, when it hit $217,000, according to the report.

Last month, single-family home sales in Bend came in at 177, four fewer than in May, and June inventory reached 3.5 months, as of Friday, the date the report was released.

Redmond’s median price for a single-family home last month reached $132,000, an increase of $6,000 over May’s median. Fifty-nine homes sold in Redmond last month, and inventory stood at about three months, as of Friday, according to the report.
