• Coaches needed for youth league: The Bend Park & Recreation District is seeking coaches for its upcoming fall youth league. The program is open to boys and girls entering grades one through eight. The season is scheduled for Aug. 20-Oct. 27. Teams will practice twice per week and play games on Saturdays. The time commitment for coaches is approximately five hours per week, and coaches can set their own practice schedules. Volunteer coaches much possess a clean criminal history.
