Feb. 23, 1926 - July 13, 2012
Nick Nicholson of Bend, passed away at age 86 from cancer.
He was born in Los Angeles, California. He spent 30 years in the US Navy, serving in WWII, Korea, and Vietnam, retiring in 1973 as a Lieutenant Commander.
Nick married Evelyn on October 11, 1947, in Glendale, California, and they had three sons, Laurance, Neil, and Jeffrey.
Nick and Evelyn enjoyed fishing, hunting, golf, and 15 years of full time RVing. Nick was a member of MOAA Central Oregon.
He is survived by his wife, three sons, 15 grandchildren and 19 great- grandchildren.
