• Djokovic advances to Rogers Cup final: Top-seeded Novak Djokovic advanced to the Rogers Cup final, beating fellow Serb Janko Tipsarevic 6-4, 6-1 on Saturday night in the rain-delayed tournament in Toronto. Djokovic, the winner of the hardcourt event in 2007 and 2011, will race Richard Gasquet in the final. The Frenchman, seeded 14th, beat John Isner 7-6 (3), 6-3. Gasquet, ranked 21st in the world, is making his first trip to a Masters 1000 final in six years.
