Marsha Ann Eiguren was born May 25, 1945, in Seattle, WA, and she passed away July 23, 2012, at Partners In Care Hospice House in Bend, OR, of complications due to Leukemia. After her father returned from active duty in China, they lived in different locations such as Glasgow, MT, Medford, OR, and Wasta, SD, before settling in Hermiston, OR. Marsha's education began in Hermiston and at St. Joseph Academy in Pendleton, graduating from Hermiston Senior High School in 1963. She attended Marylhurst for a short time, and Blue Mountain Community College in Pendleton. During a summer time job at the A&W Root Beer in Hermiston, she met Tom Eiguren. They were married on November 6, 1965. Marsha had various places of employment throughout eastern Oregon as she followed her husband and his employment, beginning as a secretary for Marlette Homes in Hermiston, OR, State Police dispatcher in Ontario, Catholic Education office in Baker City, and in Bend she worked for the Oregon Courts system and the Deschutes County Clerks office, and for many years she sold tickets at Vince Genna baseball stadium for the Phillies, Rockies, Bucks, Bandits and the Bend Elks.

Marsha was preceded in death by her mother, Ione Peters; her grandparents; and Uncle Roy and Aunt Kathy, and Aunt Joyce. Surviving are her husband, Tom of Bend, and son, Rich (Julie); two grandchildren, Hayden and Skyler of Beaverton, OR; her father, Carl (Patty) Peters of Manzanita OR; a sister, Susan (Ted) Hodge of Portland; a sister, Joan (Steve) Morisky of Bridgeton, NJ,; and a brother, Michael (Kathleen) Peters of Las Vegas, NV; Uncle Gene of Salt Lake City, UT; her mother-in-law, Victoria Eiguren of Ontario OR; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Memorial services will be at St. Francis of Assisi at the corner of Franklin and Wall St. in Bend at 10:00 a.m. on August 20, 2012. Final burial will be at the cemetery in Jordan Valley, OR, at a later date.
