F loating the “lazy river” feature at the Sunriver Homeowners Aquatic & Recreation Center was a

popular way to beat the heat on Monday. At right, Jennifer Whitten and her son Eamon, 6, get ready for a splash landing on SHARC’s water slide. The warm spell is expected to continue, with highs in the 90s likely through the weekend.
