Portions of Mt. Washington Drive in Bend are expected to be closed today for construction work.
From 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., Mt. Washington Drive will be closed from Century Drive to Yates Drive. From 1 to 4 p.m., Mt. Washington Drive will closed from Chandler Avenue to Century Drive.
Flaggers and traffic detours will be in place, and motorists are asked to use alternate routes to avoid the construction area.
Crews will work on resurfacing the asphalt during the closure. The construction is dependent on weather conditions.
