August 28, 1940 - Oct. 29, 2012

Constance Frances Kielty, of Sunriver, died October 29, 2012, at age 72, with family close at hand. She had suffered two strokes this year.

Connie was born August 28, 1940, to Margaret and Harold Hap Aumiller in Blachly, OR. She graduated from St. Francis High School in Eugene, in 1958. Connie received medical training at Lane Community College and worked for many years as an LPN in Oregon hospitals and with hospice care services.

Since 1990, until the day she fell ill, Connie ran her own business, Connies Cleaning Service, providing service to the homes and condos of Sunriver and vicinity.

Connie was married to Morris P. Kielty for 29 years, and had four children, all of whom survive her, Tim Kielty of Lake Oswego, Karen Gerscher of Eugene, Kathy Kielty of Bend and Debbie Kielty of Portland. She is also survived by six grandchildren, a great-grandchild and many other friends and family.

In 1989, Connie moved to Sunriver, with her long-time partner, Bill Williams, who also survives her. They shared a life together for 25 years, snowmobiling, enjoying the regions rivers and lakes, and traveling extensively in Mexico and the United States. She also traveled in Eastern Europe, making several trips to the pilgrimage site in Medjugorje, Croatia.

A funeral and Mass will be held at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church (new Catholic church), in Bend, Saturday, Nov. 2, at noon. Remembrances may be made to the Spiritual Care Services at St. Charles Medical Center.
