A memorial service was held on Saturday, Oct. 27, 2012 at Trinity Methodist Church in Eugene, for Charles Franklin Coe of Eugene, OR, who died Oct. 22nd of age-related causes. He was 94. He was born Aug. 6, 1918 in Eugene to Lewis and Ella Dodson Coe. He and his wife Lucille were married Feb. 10, 1938 in Vancouver, WA. She died April 9, 2012. He graduated from high school in Bend, OR. He served in the US army from 1942 to 1946 and later worked as a construction supervisor. He is survived by son Richard of Gilchrist, OR; one grandchild; one great-grandchild; and seven great-great-grandchildren. Inurnment will be at Willamette National Cemetery in Portland.
