The Central Oregon Council on Aging is seeking volunteers to help with its annual Thanksgiving meal for seniors, coordinated by Jake’s Diner.
The event is for seniors who have no family with whom to spend the Thanksgiving holiday. The event is scheduled for noon to 5 p.m. Nov. 22 at the Bend Senior Center. The cost is $7.50 per meal.
Those interested in volunteering should call 541-678-5483. Those who would like to purchase tickets to the event should call Jake’s Diner at 541-382-0118.
