Published: November 19. 2012 4:16PM PST

Deschutes County Circuit Court was evacuated around 3 p.m. today following a bomb threat.

According to Circuit Court Chief Judge Alta Brady, all hearings from 3 p.m. on were canceled and the courthouse would remain closed to the public this afternoon.

Courts in Jefferson and Crook counties were also evacuated, Brady said.

Deschutes County Sheriff’s deputies and Bend Police shut down roads surrounding the courthouse while conducting a sweep of the buildings.
