Navis acquires LMG Data Mining

Published: November 20. 2012 4:00AM PST

Bend call-management company Navis has acquired LMG Data Mining, an Arizona data management and analysis firm, Navis announced Monday.

The move gives Navis control of LMG’s customer relationship management software, which is used by more than 200 hotels and resorts across the country, according to a news release issued by the two companies.

Navis uses a reservation sales system to offer hotels software that lets them monitor customers’ needs and tailor their marketing efforts to those needs.

The acquisition of LMG Data Mining enables the Bend company to use LMG’s data to improve its own data gathering.

Navis was founded in Sunriver in 1987, under the name Buehner-Fry Inc. The company has about 400 clients, according to its website.
