After the Black Friday frenzy, downtown Bend businesses are asking shoppers to support Small Business Saturday.
The concept is part of a national movement to highlight small businesses during the holiday shopping season. In Bend, 20 to 30 businesses are putting on special sales and events on Saturday, including Local Joe, Trivia Antiques, North Soles Footwear and Wabi Sabi.
