EUGENE — Two demonstrators who climbed a chain link fence around the former City Hall property in downtown Eugene were cited for criminal trespassing.
Occupy Eugene members Gwendolyn Maeve Iris and Jason Lee Miller were cited early Monday after a weekend demonstration. Occupy Eugene said it was a protest “against the city’s lack of action for the unhoused."
The Register-Guard reported the two are due in Eugene Municipal Court next month and could be sentenced to jail if convicted of trespassing.
