Former Madras resident, Joel Addison Lydy, 55, passed away Dec. 30, 2012, at Mount Rainier National Park.
Survivors include his mother, Nancy Lee Lydy of Metolius; father, John (and spouse, Daisy) Lydy of Bend; wife, Joan Lydy of Tacoma; his son, Jonathan Joel Lydy of Madras; brother, Lance Lydy; sister, Lisa Lee Lydy; two nieces, Laura Wryn Lydy and Aishia "Bug" Lydy; stepsons, D.W. Head and Warren Head; and numerous uncles, aunts and cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Dean and Laura Stewart and Lester and Thyra Lydy.
