EUGENE — The first appearance at Autzen Stadium by a Southeastern Conference team in 11 years and a Pac-12 Conference slate capped by the annual Civil War are the featured home games on the Oregon Ducks’ football schedule for 2013.
The Pac-12 released the schedule for the upcoming season on Thursday.
Seven home games await the 2013 Ducks, who are coming off a 12-1 campaign highlighted by a Fiesta Bowl victory over Kansas State and a No. 2 (Associated Press) final national ranking.
Tennessee of the SEC will make its first visit ever to Eugene on Sept. 14, the third of Oregon’s three nonconference games.
The Ducks open at home against Nicholls State and play the following week at Nevada.
A bye follows the Tennessee game, then Oregon opens Pac-12 play at home against California before consecutive road games against Colorado and Washington. After home games against Washington State and UCLA and another bye, the Ducks travel to play defending conference champion Stanford in a Thursday night contest on Nov. 7.
Utah visits Eugene on Nov. 16, when the Utes and Ducks will meet for the first time as league counterparts. Oregon then plays at Arizona before hosting rival Oregon State in the Civil War, a Friday game slated for Nov. 29.
In the conference’s schedule rotation, the Ducks will not play USC or Arizona State in 2013 or 2014.
