Sara Ann Sally Magers, of Bend, Oregon, passed away on January 7, 2013. She was 92.
A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, January 19, 2013, at 2:00 p.m.. at Trinity Episcopal Church, located at 469 Wall Street in Bend, Oregon.
Sara was born November 11, 1920, in Coulee City, Washington, to Vern E. and Ellen (Lewis) Dean. She graduated from Central Washington State Teachers College. Sara was an elementary school teacher and retired in 1976. Sara married Walter Francis Magers on March 4, 1944. She loved teaching, sewing, clothes shopping and traveling.
Sara is survived by her loving husband, Walter Magers of Bend, Oregon, son, David Bruce Magers of Alfalfa, Oregon, and her sister, Claudia.
Memorial contributions may be made to any Christian church of ones choosing.
