My Mom, MaryBelle Peters went to be with the Lord Jesus today. She will be reunited with her two sons, Ronnie and Richard Raymond and her grandson, Ronnie Sappington, her brother, Barr Groff and sister, Elizabeth Miller, as well as husband, Leland Peters, who all preceded her in death. She was 96 years old. Belle, as she liked to be called, lived all her life in Central Oregon, never traveling far away. She was born in Redmond, but lived most of her life in Post, Oregon on the family ranch on Newsome creek. She attend high school in Prineville and raised her family there and in Paulina. For the past several years she has lived near her daughter, Yvonne Sappington, in Tumalo. Other survivors include grandchildren: Jody, Tim and Robin Sappington Lowrie, Brett, Cass and Kama Raymond, Rita Larrance, and five great grandchildren, Katie, Indigo, Riley, Ronnie Sappington and Ruby Wilcienboer. No service is planned.
