PORTLAND — The aunt who raised Oregon mall shooter Jacob Roberts has died.
The state medical examiner confirmed Friday that Tami Roberts died of natural causes. KPTV reported the 48-year-old woman was found by a caretaker Thursday, and revival efforts failed.
Jacob Roberts killed two people and wounded a third Dec. 11 at the Clackamas Town Center before killing himself.
His mother died before he was 3 years old, and the identity of his father is unknown.
Tami Roberts told reporters after the rampage that she had not spoken to her 22-year-old nephew in four years.
