CLINICS OR CLASSES

Saturday — Tune-up golf clinic for ladies at Central Oregon Indoor Golf in southeast Bend. Bob Garza, director of instruction at Lost Tracks Golf Club in Bend, will hone driver skills in the final clinic of the four-par series of lesson. TOURNAMENTS

March 2 — Polar Bear Open is an individual stroke-play tournament at Meadow Lakes Golf Course in Prineville. Individual stroke-play tournament tees off with a 10 a.m. shotgun. Cost is $20 plus green fee. For more information or to register, call the Meadow Lakes pro shop at 541-447-7113.

March 2 — Rotary Club of Jefferson County’s Cherry Tree Open is a four-person scramble tournament held at Kah-Nee-Ta High Desert Resort near Warm Springs. Shotgun start at 10 a.m. Cost is $60 per person and includes net and gross prizes and hole-in-one contest. Registration deadline is Feb. 21, and individual handicaps limited to 26. All players must sign up by noon on the Thursday before the event. April 4 — Central Oregon Golf Tour individual stroke play tournament at Pronghorn Club’s Nicklaus Course near Bend. The Central Oregon Golf Tour is a competitive golf series held at golf courses throughout Central Oregon. Gross and net competitions open to all amateur golfers of all abilities.
