Jerry and Patty (Taylor) Rood, of Bend, will celebrate their 25th wedding anniversary with a cross-country ski trip to the Methow Valley in the North Cascades of Washington.
The couple were married March 5, 1988, at St. Elizabeth Catholic Church, in Portland. They have two children, Kyle, of Pittsburgh, and Emily, of Arcata, Calif.
Mr. Rood works in outdoor maintenance for the Bend-La Pine School District. Mrs. Rood works as a medical technologist at St. Charles Health System. Mrs. Rood enjoys gardening. They both enjoy outdoor activities including cross-country skiing, camping and fly-fishing.
They have lived in Central Oregon for 25 years.
