A change of course, Tye Krueger practices his roll cast during a Bend Casting Club meet-up at the 12th hole of the newly improved Old Mill Casting Course on Tuesday. 
Think of it as a 12-hole golf course, where each hole represents a different fishing situation, making you display new casting techniques as you complete the course. That's according to Visit Bend, the tourism agency that maintains that the Bend course remains the only casting course in North America.
The casting course starts across the river from Red Robin, and it gets more difficult as you go.
The course is open daily from dawn to dusk and is free to the public. e
