For those who have to work, ‘Christmas is just a day'

For many Bend residents, working on Christmas is the norm.

In Jackie Elo's family alone, three of six people were on the clock Wednesday.

Her father, a therapist at St. Charles Medical Center, worked Wednesday, said the 16-year-old Bend High School student.
