REDMOND - Organizers of the Miss Oregon-USA pageant say they are moving the event from Portland to Eagle Crest Resort in Redmond this year.

The surprise announcement came on the tail end of Redmond mayor Alan Unger's annual state of the city address Wednesday at Juniper Golf Club.
