Locals sign up to hear 'South Beach Diet' author speak

News that the author of "The South Beach Diet" is scheduled to speak in Bend in August has already prompted a flurry of phone calls from interested people to St. Charles Medical Center-Bend.

More than 200 people have already signed up for his summer presentation.
