A Bakersfield, Calif., man led police on a high-speed chase into the Deschutes River Woods subdivision at about 1:36 a.m. Saturday, before crashing into a power pole, knocking out power to almost 450 homes and destroying cable equipment, according to a news release from the Deschutes County....
