Golfers prepare for U.S. Amateur qualifier

REDMOND — Eleven Central Oregon golfers will play 36 holes today for an opportunity to play at the famed Pinehurst (N.C.) Resort.

The Central Oregonians will be in a field of more than 80 golfers who will tee it up today at Juniper Golf Club in Redmond for the one-day U.S. Amateur....
