At Juniper Elementary School last week, there were ham and cheese sandwiches for the taking. Ditto on an apple, assorted vegetables and a cookie. And in case that wasn’t enough, there were dozens of books spread on a blanket, beckoning young readers.
The kids answered the call, wolfing....
