Governor appoints Morrow County DA

SALEM — Gov. Ted Kulongoski has appointed Justin Nelson as the Morrow County district attorney.

Nelson was elected in the May primary, but his term was not scheduled to begin until January.

Tuesday’s appointment puts Nelson in the job immediately.
