Thomas and Shirley (Ancheta) Catalano, of Bend, plan to celebrate their 25th wedding anniversary with a trip in the near future.

The couple were married Feb. 14, 1987, in Brentwood, Calif. They met when he was undergoing a root canal and she was working as a dental assistant.
