Phyllis (Sellards) Martin of Bend died Sunday. She was 67.
A private service will be held.
Mrs. Martin was born April 26, 1934, in Buffalo, N.Y. She married T.W. ?Bill? Martin on June 7, 1966, in Sherman Oaks, Calif.
She was a homemaker. She also worked as a part-time newspaper publisher and helped develop a software company. She and her husband moved to Bend in 1991 to be near family and friends.
Mrs. Martin volunteered with scouts and charities. She enjoyed art, quilting, basket weaving and entertaining.
Survivors include her husband of Bend; two sons, Frank Schultz of Victor, Mont., and Charles Schultz of Simi Valley, Calif.; one daughter, Suzanne Folmar of Bend; one brother, John Sellards; one sister, Nancy Trippe; and seven grandchildren.

Mark Ernie Steinlicht

Mark Ernie Steinlicht of Bend died Nov. 7 of liver cancer in Salem. He was 51.
A private service will be held Dec. 8.
Mr. Steinlicht was born July 15, 1950 in Portland. He married Diane McClain on June 28, 1975.
He graduated from Bend High School in 1968.
Mr. Steinlicht served in the US Navy aboard the USS Joseph Strauss during the Vietnam War.
He worked as an equipment operator and carpenter for E.E. Steinlicht Co. in the 1960s and 70s and owned and operated Mark Steinlicht Construction from 1980 to 1985. He was an equipment operator for Mark Latham Excavation Inc. from 1993 to 1998. He was also a member of the 14 Bubbler Club of Bend.
He was an avid sailor of water crafts, including one he lived on in San Francisco with his family for six years. He was an artist, working with welding, carpentry and concrete. He made several topiaries that are on display at Pier 39 in San Francisco.
Mr. Steinlicht enjoyed skiing, ice skating, camping in the desert and motorcycling. He was an innovative and resourceful mechanic.
Survivors include his wife of Tumalo; one daughter, Lilli of Ashland; mother, Gladys of Bend; one sister, Nan Johnston of Terrebonne; and grandmother, Marie Olson of Bend.
He was preceded in death by his father, grandfather and brother.

Lemoyne ?Joe? J. Weirich of Bend died Friday of natural causes. He was 84.
A viewing will be held from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday at Niswonger, Reynolds and Tabor Funeral Home. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Niswonger, Reynolds and Tabor Funeral Home. A burial will follow the service at Greenwood Memorial Cemetery.
Mr. Weirich was born Dec. 23, 1916, in Lebanon. He married Thelma Sharrah on Nov. 17, 1982, in Bend.
He served in the U.S. Navy as a heavy equipment operator in the Seabees during World War II.
Mr. Weirich worked as a heavy equipment operator on various ranches and farms in Nevada and California.
He was a member of the BPOE Elks Lodge. He enjoyed gardening and playing steel guitar. He sat in as a guest player with Buck Owen?s band and Bob Wils and the Texas Playboys.
Survivors include his wife of Bend; two sons, Richard of Lebanon and Larry of Las Vegas; two stepsons, Richard and Larry Johnson, both of Shreveport, La.; two daughters, Joelann Weaver of Belton, Texas and Marlene Splawn of Springfield; two stepdaughters, Donice Edney of West Monroe, La., and Ann North of Shreveport, La.; nine grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his sister and a grandson.
