Elizabeth Jean (Clevenger) Sohm, 87, of Ellensburg died Friday at her home. Born November 22, 1921, in Terrebonne (Lower Bridge), Oregon, she was one of five children of Vernon O. and Grace (Pidgen) Clevenger. She was raised on a ranch in the Lower Bridge area, attended grade school there and graduated from Redmond Union High School in 1940.
She and Herbert H. Sohm were married in 1940 and had two daughters, Pat and Judy. They lived in Redmond, Oregon, until 1962 when they moved to Renton, Washington.
She was active in her church both in Redmond and Renton. She enjoyed camping, working around her home and yard and spending time with her family.
She was preceded in death by her parents, daughter, Judy, one sister, three brothers, and by her husband, Herb. Following his death in 2003, she moved to Ellensburg.

Burial was held in Redmond, Oregon with services at graveside in the Redmond Memorial Cemetery at 1:00 pm on Wednesday, April 22. Affordable Funeral Care of Ellensburg, WA is in charge of arrangements.
