Katharine E. Bennett was born September 2, 1915, in Wheeling, W. Virginia, to parents, Charles H. and Jennie G. (Terrill) Salade.

She married Kenneth Carlisle Bennett May 29, 1935. She is survived by three sons, Stewart Carlisle and wife, Lucille Bennett of Bend, William Kenneth and wife, Roberta Bennett of Yuma, AZ, and Charles Edward Bennett of Bend; two grandsons, Timothy Carlisle and wife, Sabina Bennett of Bend, Russell Stewart Bennett of White Salmon, WA; one great-grandson, Jerime Carlisle and wife, Mandy Bennett of Bend; and two great-great-grandchildren, Tayler G. Bennett and Garrett Carlisle Bennett.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one sister, and her husband.

At her request, no services will be held. Memorial contributions are appreciated to the First United Methodist Church, 680 NW Bond Street, Bend, OR 97701.
