Christine Rose, a certified genealogist who has written several books about genealogy, including “The Complete Idiot’s Guide to Genealogy,” will be the featured guest at the Bend Genealogical Society’s Spring Seminar.

People must register in advance to attend the spring seminar, which will be from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. April 27 at the Bend Golf and Country Club. The $70 cost covers lunch and all other seminar-related materials.
