Ravens take out Cowgirls

Ridgeview won a pair of softball games against Crook County on Wednesday, defeating the Cowgirls 11-1 and 5-2 in Redmond to earn a spot in the Class 4A play-in round. In attached photo, the Ravens’ Zoe Lash connects with a pitch in the fifth inning of the opening contest between the two Class 4A Special District 1 opponents. The Ravens are now 11-6 overall and 2-0 in Special District 1. Crook County is 9-10 and 0-2. The two teams conclude their three-game series on Friday with a single game in Prineville.
