Roy Barr, age 66 of Redmond passed away in Portland on April 21, 2013.

He was born to Bird and Margaret (Bachard) Barr in Portland, on November 22, 1946.

He married Anna Steiner on September 21, 1971 in Eugene, and worked as a firefighter during his working years. In his retirement he spent a lot of time as a gym supervisor and study hall teacher at Willamette High School.

He is survived by his wife, Anna; sons, David of Albany, Brian (Misty) of Eugene, and Jason of Eugene; and 9 grandchildren.
