Lois Ann Prince, age 91, passed away on April 19, 2013, in Eugene, OR.

Ann was born at the original Eugene Hospital March 18, 1922, to Herbert and Andree Staples. She was raised in Eugene, Portland and Bend, OR, where she graduated from Bend High School.

Ann attended the University of Oregon where she studied art. She was a member of the Delta Gamma sorority.

Ann married Frank R. Prince Jr. from Bend, in 1946. They moved to Eugene, where she was a member of the Eugene Welfare League, which later became the Junior League. Ann was a supporter of the Eugene Symphony Guild. She was a dog lover, an avid piano player, needle point, and petit point designer and a gifted artist in the mediums of oil, charcoal and pastel.

After her first husband, Frank, passed away in 1988, Ann remarried Arthur D. Stump in 1994.

Ann is survived by her husband, Art; her brother, James Staples from Redmond, OR; and her three children, Deborah from Seattle, WA, Charles from Salem, OR, and David from Eugene, OR.

The family wishes to thank Cascade Manors Health Care Center and Sacred Heart Hospice for the loving care she received in the last months of her life.

A gravesite ceremony was held April 23, 2013, at Rest Haven Cemetery, in Eugene, OR.

Arrangements were by Musgrove Family Mortuary, in Eugene, OR.
