Paulann Petersen, Oregon’s sixth poet laureate, will visit Central Oregon May 11 and May 12.

Petersen, a Portland native who is the author of five poetry collections and four books, will visit the Redmond Public Library May 11 to conduct a writing workshop. The workshop will take place from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., and registration is required. Petersen will also visit the downtown Bend Public Library at 2 p.m. May 12 for a guest reading.
