Two popular Oregon lakes could have a fish that is worth $2 million to the lucky angler who lands it.
South Twin Lake, southwest of Bend, and Hagg Lake, in Washington County, have been selected as Oregon’s representatives in the “Fish for Millions” contest sponsored by Cabela’s and wildlife agencies from 21 states.
The contest is from May 4 to July 7. Participants must register at www.cabelas.com/fishformillions to be eligible.
Rainbow trout were put into both lakes, all tagged with a small “spaghetti” tag. The anglers who catch these fish can claim their prizes by entering the tag number and other information on the website.
Prizes include Ranger boats, a Chevy truck, Cabela’s shopping sprees, fishing gear and up to $2 million in cash.
