Free Fishing Day for kids will not take place on Saturday at Wizard Falls Fish Hatchery in Camp Sherman.

The event has historically been held on the second Saturday of June each year, drawing hundreds of children. But this year, the event was moved to June 1 to coincide with Oregon State Parks Day. Hatchery fish specialist Doug Curtis said Free Fishing Day will now take place on the first Saturday of June.
