Tumalo State Park wildfire contained

A wind-pushed wildfire charred just more than a quarter of an acre Tuesday at Tumalo State Park before firefighters stopped the blaze.
The brush fire between O.B. Riley Road and the Deschutes River was reported at 2:14 p.m., according to the Bend Fire Department. Nine firefighters, from the department and the Oregon Department of Forestry, quickly contained the fire, which was spreading rapidly due to high winds.
Investigators determined the fire to be human-caused, according to the fire department, although the exact cause was not determined.
