Basic Rights Oregon will present a Bend Garden Party June 30.

Featuring an afternoon of appetizers, drinks and live entertainment, the event also provides information about Basic Rights Oregon and its current efforts for equality for all Oregonians. Topics include trans-inclusive health care, racial justice and expanding support for the freedom to marry.

The Bend Garden Party runs 4-6 p.m. at a house on the 500 block of Northwest Drake Road. Since the location is a private residence, contact organizers for the exact address.

A $25 donation is suggested. Proceeds benefit Basic Rights Oregon.
