Church seeks homes for painting

Through July 8, Community Presbyterian Church of Redmond will accept applications for eligible houses to be painted during the 25th “Paint Your Heart Out” project on July 27.
The goal of the project is to help senior citizens and the disabled by painting their homes at no cost to them, as well as promoting the idea of “Love Thy Neighbor.” Applicants must own their own single-family home, be 60 or older and/or handicapped, unable to afford a commercial paint job, and live at the residence with no plans to put it up for sale in the near future. The home must be in need of paint, but not be in such poor condition that painting would not be worthwhile. Volunteers and donations are welcome.
For applications, contact Community Presbyterian Church, 529 N.W. 19th St., in Redmond or the Redmond Senior Center, 325 N.W. Dogwood Ave.
