Geraldine Jeri Louise Eckels Halloran Yakerson, a long time Sisters resident, passed peacefully away in her sleep early the morning of Tuesday, June 18, 2013, as a result of complications
of late stage CML leukemia.

She also worked as an R.N./Jail Matron at Huntington Beach City Jail.
Jeri lived aboard a 36′ CrisCraft in the Long Beach Marina before moving to Lowell, Oregon in the early 1980s and was located in Sisters by the end of that decade. Jeri was known lovingly about town as ”the little walker” for her life-long love of walking.
