Rose Elizabeth Hutchinson, of Beaverton, celebrated her 100th birthday with family and friends in San Diego.

Mrs. Hutchinson was born June 24, 1913, in Goshen, Ind. She married Thomas Hutchinson, who died in 1992. She has eight children, Stephen (and Kathryn), of Eugene, Hilary, of Beaverton, Anne (and Jose) Perez, of San Jose, Calif., Tom (and Allison), of Longview, Wash., Tim (and Leslie), of Portland, Julie (and Neal) Foster, of Brookings, S.D., Chris, of Cranberry, Pa., and the late Mary Rose; 12 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Hutchinson has been a full-time mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She is a member of St. Piux X Catholic Curch in Beaverton and a regent of the Bend Chapter of Catholic Daughters.
